HEARTBEATS Is an interpretation of abstracted classical music. Inspired by unusual detached rhythms and sounds, this dark highly contrasted artwork emerged quite quickly. The clanks and gongs popped striking strong colors onto the watercolor paper. As colors poured out in vertical stripes of varying widths, strong heartfelt feelings suddenly appeared, as if the painting had a mind of its own. Unrestrained circles roll across the stripes adding another layer of strong emotional movement in a brief space of time. Enclosed in one of the circles is a message "Love is always the perfect gift!" which is the overall essence in HEARTBEATS.

Cherie Salerno-AKA CS Mau- is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago ( SAIC) with a concentration in capturing concepts through art! She finds great pleasure creating artwork filled with uplifting colors and exciting movement. This movement is inspired by musically directed lines, swirls, dots and colors that appear in many of her artworks. Subject matter spans inspiration found in nature to classical influences. She believes in sharing her talents through the gift of teaching others in her own private art studio.
