REHEARSAL is a peek behind-the-scenes of a ballet practice. This classical dance form demands hours, days, and years of discipline in order to perform the grace and precision of formalized steps and gestures, utilizing flowing patterns to create expression and the "look" of simplicity of ballet movement. The smokey grey figure at the back left is seen instructing the ballerinas at the ballet bar. The foreground dancer is trying out her colorful hot pink tutu in the REHEARSAL.

Cherie Salerno-AKA CS Mau- is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago ( SAIC) with a concentration in capturing concepts through art! She finds great pleasure creating artwork filled with uplifting colors and exciting movement. This movement is inspired by musically directed lines, swirls, dots and colors that appear in many of her artworks. Subject matter spans inspiration found in nature to classical influences. She believes in sharing her talents through the gift of teaching others in her own private art studio.
