Literally speaking, REACHING for something is an everyday action; but it can also mean reaching for higher goals. Difficult obstacles or aims often seem "out of reach" almost
unattainable at times. It is during these times one can feel very small in comparison to the envisioned goal. In this image, the figure is very small in comparison to the "cups" on the top shelf. Reaching for the top shelf is the idea. With continued perseverance, achievements are sometimes reached, sometimes not. In either case, the effort is valuable.
Pertaining to my artwork, no matter what the subject may be, most of my work contains a bit of mystery as in REACHING. 😊
Cherie Salerno-AKA CS Mau- is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago ( SAIC) with a concentration in capturing concepts through art! She finds great pleasure creating artwork filled with uplifting colors and exciting movement.
