Paprika's Place is a small upbeat, arty coffee cafe somewhere in the Southwest.
Taos or Santa Fe New Mexico set a good example for the overall essence of this artwork. Paprika's is filled with an understated cool pizazz, sparked with a most interesting group of people. The lady in the Red dress has a red pepper spicy personality. A woman in a blue swishing fringe dress tries capturing the attention of the man in the white hat sitting with his cup of coffee. He is watching the happy dancer at the bottom right, moving to the sounds of the horn player and bongo music beats. A small group of people in the background enjoy the atmosphere. Cherie Salerno-AKA CS Mau- is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago ( SAIC) with a concentration in capturing concepts through art! She finds great pleasure creating artwork filled with uplifting colors and exciting movement. This movement is inspired by musically directed lines, swirls, dots and colors that appear in many of her artworks. Subject matter spans inspiration found in nature to classical influences. She believes in sharing her talents through the gift of teaching others in her own private art studio.
